Why "Royal"

A roof isn't a purchase you make often, and most homeowners only get one or two chances in a house to get it right. Owner Benjamin Hayes built Royal Roofing Los Angeles around the idea that a roofing job should hold up the same way years later as it looked the day it was finished — and that the company doing the work should still be around, and still answering the phone, when you need them.

That means we don't chase every lead across Southern California. We focus on Downtown LA and the neighborhoods we actually know — the Arts District's converted lofts and warehouses, the Fashion District's commercial stock, and the Spanish- and Mediterranean-style tile roofs common across the wider LA basin. It also means understanding things a roofer working two states over wouldn't: California's Title 24 cool-roof requirements, Class A fire ratings, and how a flat commercial roof on a 1920s Downtown building behaves differently than a pitched residential roof in the hills.

How We Work

Every project starts with an honest inspection, not a sales pitch. If a repair will genuinely solve the problem, we'll say so — we're not incentivized to sell a full replacement when it isn't needed. If a roof really is past its useful life, we'll explain exactly why, in plain terms, with photos.

Pricing is written and itemized before any work begins. No verbal estimates that turn into a different number on invoice day, and no allowances that quietly balloon once the crew is on-site.
